Early Voting Centers
Early Voting for the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election will occur from June 11, 2026 through June 18, 2026 (including Saturday and Sunday) from 7am - 8pm. Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Ride On bus service has several routes available to transport voters to the early voting centers. More information will be available closer to the start of early voting.

Ballot Drop Boxes
You can return your ballot by mail, or you can drop off your completed, voted ballot at one of the 58 official Montgomery County Board of Elections drop boxes. Simply place your completed ballot in the return envelope, sign the oath on the return envelope, seal the return envelope, and take your ballot to a drop box. Drop boxes will be available from Saturday, May 9, 2026 through 8 PM Tuesday, June 23. Please make sure your oath is signed on the return envelope or the ballot will not count. Ballot drop boxes are under 24/7 video surveillance. Ballots are retrieved from drop boxes daily by bipartisan election teams. The drop boxes are not the property of the United States Postal Service.
